KTN news anchor Zubeidah Kananu has been re-elected as the president of the Kenya Editors Guild. Kananu garnered 72 votes against her only challenger, Citizen TV’s Yvonne Okwara, who got 58 votes in the virtual elections held on Saturday. KBC’s assistant Editor in Chief, Millicent Awuor has been elected unopposed as the council member for Television, with KBC’s radio editor, Agnes Mwangangi, winning the position of council member for radio. The election had a voter turnout of 96.3%.
