The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has warned politicians fanning ethnic tensions through hate speech calling on political tolerance ahead of the next general election. Speaking in Nairobi, NCIC Chairperson Reverend Samuel Kobia noted an emerging trend where politicians are pursuing political mobilization on ethnic lines vowing to deal with the perpetrators. And as Timothy Kipnusu reports, the commission is currently investigating 28 cases that contravene the National Cohesion and Integration Act.
